How Do I Create A New Account?
Creating an account with us, enables us to personalize all your
transactions on Rediff shopping. However, you do not need to create an
account or register with us before shopping. Once you confirm the order
during your first purchase, you will be prompted to register yourself and
provide us with your personal details.

How Do I Change My Personal
Details?
You can change your personal information like email ID, login password,
mailing address, etc. as per your convenience. To make the changes, log
into your account and select the option 'Account Details' and then
click on the 'Submit' button. Once the changes have been done,
click on the 'Save Changes' button. The 'Reset' button will
clear the contents of all the fields.

How Can I Track An Order?
To track the status of your pending orders, log into your account
and then click on 'Track My Order'. Later, click on the link
'Details' provided against the order number. You can also review
all your past purchases here. You can view only five orders at a time.

How Do I Manage My Personal
Address Book?
You can maintain and update an address book, which you may use to
record your various billing addresses. To manage your Address Book, log
into your account, select the options "Address Book" and "my own" and then
click on 'Submit' button. Once you have updated your Address Book, click
on the "Save Changes" button. The 'Reset' button will clear all the
contents from your Address Book.

How Do I Manage My Gifting
Address Book?
The addresses to which you have sent gifts
earlier are stored in your gifting address book by default. This may come
in handy for your future reference and usage. To manage the Gifting
Address Book, log into your account, select the options 'Address
Book' and 'Gift' and then click on 'Submit' button. Once
you have updated the Address Book, click on the 'Save Changes'
button. The 'Reset' button will clear all the contents from the
Address Book.

Step 1:
After selecting the
item of your choice, click on 'Buy Now' link provided next to
the item details. You can Remove or Change the quantity of any item in your
bag by clicking onto the link 'Update' which is on the right hand side
of the shopping bag.
Step 2:
After adding all the
items you wish to purchase, click on the link 'Proceed to Next Step'.
If you are a first time shopper, you will have to register with us by
creating a new account and filling in the personal information in the
fields provided. If you are a repeat shopper, you will have to log in
using your login name and password.
Step
3:
After adding all the items you wish to purchase,
click on the link 'Send As Gift To Another Address' if it is a gift
purchase or click on the link 'Send to the Above Address'. While
confirming the order you have to choose the preferred payment option and
then click on the link 'Complete Your Order'.
It is advisable to make a note of the order number as a
reference for any further communication with us.

What is a shopping bag?
The shopping bag is a virtual carry bag that displays the number
of items you have chosen to purchase along with the total purchase amount.
This is displayed as a small window located at the left-hand top corner of
your webpage. This window also provides links to view the details of the
items you have chosen - 'View Details and to confirm your purchase
'Proceed to Checkout'.
You can update your order by adding / removing items, etc. in the
shopping cart once you click on the link 'View Details'.

Update my order
You can make the following changes to your current order in the
shopping cart:

(i) Add/deduct the quantity - To add or deduct the
quantity of a particular item, click in the box where the
'Quantity' is mentioned, change the quantity and click on the
link 'Update Cart'.
(ii) Delete an item - To delete an item from the shopping
cart, tick the check-box under 'Remove' option and then click
on the button 'Update Cart' to delete the selected item.

Cancel my order
Please note that cancellations have to be made within 24 hours
after placing an order. For canceling your order, you will have to get in
touch with our customer support executive by sending an email at shopping@rediff.co.in and
giving the reference of your order number. Incase you cancel the order of
perishable products, the cost of the product will have to be borne by you.

How Do I Send Gifts?
Rediff Shopping offers a wide choice of products that are perfect for
gifting on any occasion or festival.
To send a gift,
- Click on 'Buy now' button to choose the items you wish to
send as gift.
- Click on 'View Details' link to confirm the items you have
chosen and also to make any changes in the same.
- Click on the checkbox below your shopping cart, to choose the option
of sending the items as gift.
- Provide gifting details like name of the person, shipping address,
message, if any and also provide the payment details. You can choose the
address from the Address
Book.
- Click on 'Purchase' to register your order with us.
It is advisable to make a note of the order number as a
reference for any further communication with us.
You can choose the gift for a particular occasion or for a particular
person by using our service 'Rediff Gift Matcher'. To know more

How Can I
Save My Order For Later Purchase?
- Click on 'Buy' button to choose the item for purchase. The
item gets added to your shopping bag.
- After you have chosen all the items for purchase, click on the
'Purchase' or 'View Details' link provided below the
shopping bag.
- Check the 'Buy Later' option provided in the shopping cart,
once you have logged into your account.
- Click on the 'Update Cart' button to
- Click on the 'Check Out' button to complete the registration
of your order with us.
To confirm your purchase later,
- Click on the link 'Saved Items' provided below your shopping
bag.
- Tick the checkbox 'Add To Cart', provided in your shopping
cart, for the items you wish to confirm the purchase and then click on
'Update Cart' button to confirm the change.
- Then follow Step
3 of the shopping process to register your order with us.

How do I return an item?
We take stringent measures to ensure that the items delivered to you
are in perfect condition.
However, there is a remote possibility that the item may be damaged
during transit or there might be a manufacturing defect.
There might also be a remote possibility that a wrong item is delivered
to you.
In such cases, we will replace the item at no extra cost, provided that
the request for replacement / return of item is made within the stipulated
timeframe.
To get a replacement or return an item, follow the steps below:
- Fill up the online Return / Exchange (REX) Form and submit it.
- Our team will arrange for the replacement or the return of the item
through our enabling partners.
- Hand-over the item for replacement to the courier pick-up personnel
(who is different from the delivery personnel).

Currency Will I Be Charged For The Purchases I Make?
Prices on Rediff Shopping are inclusive of the shipping charges,
where applicable. For products that can be delivered outside India,
you will see an USD price as well as an INR price. The INR
price applies for delivery within India. The USD price applies for
delivery outside India.
If you place your order from outside India for delivery in
India, you will be charged the USD equivalent of the INR price,
at the exchange rate when the order is confirmed.
If you place your order from within India for delivery outside
India, you will be charged the INR equivalent of the USD price,
at the exchange rate when the order is confirmed.

How Do I Choose My
Payment Option?
If you are a first-time shopper, you
will be asked to choose the Default Payment option during
registration (creating an account). Once you have confirmed your
order, you will have to provide the required details depending on the
payment option you have chosen.
If you are a repeat
shopper, the payment option that was chosen by you during your last
purchase will be selected as your Default Payment option and
will be displayed as you have to provide your preferred payment option.
However, you can change your payment option while confirming
your order.

Default Payment Option?
Rediff provides you with an
opportunity to choose one payment option (which you intend to use
frequently), as your Default Payment option. When confirming your
first order on Rediff Shopping, you can specify any one option as your
Default Payment option. This option will be considered as default every
time you make a purchase at Rediff. You can change this option whenever
you confirm orders on Rediff Shopping.

Shipping charges for items, CDs/VCDs/DVDs as follows :
- Rs 50 or 10% of web price value whichever is higher with a maximum shipping charge not exceeding Rs 200. For CDs/VCDs/DVDs the fixed shipping charge will be Rs 35.00 per SKU.
E.g: ( a ) Product price = Rs.100/-……. Shipping = Rs.50/- ( standard charge of Rs.50/- )
( b ) Product price = Rs.1500/-……Shipping = Rs.150/- ( @ 10% of Product Price)
( c ) Product price = Rs.5000/-……Shipping = Rs.200/- (Rs.200 is the maximum shipping charged on a product)

Do You Deliver
Worldwide?
All items in our Music
Shop and Books
Shop are delivered worldwide using Federal Express service.
However, certain books and music titles published in India may have
restrictions (placed by publishers) that allow us to make delivery only
within India- this information is placed next to each title.
Most of
the items from our Gift Shop
are available only for delivery within India. However, there are certain
items, where dollar prices are indicated, which are delivered worldwide.

How Is My Order
Delivered To Me?
Our logistics partners will attempt delivery of the items
thrice. Incase the delivery is not executed during these three
attempts, due to a wrong address or the recipient being unavailable /
premises being locked, the customer shall still be charged for the order.
In case of perishable items, the delivery will be attempted only
once due to the nature of the item.
Please note that the delivery of the items will not be attempted
on Sundays or on any public holidays due to unavailability of courier
service.

What Is The
Lead-time For Delivery?
Orders from Rediff Shopping are delivered quickly anywhere in the
world, by courier through our logistics partners. Subject to the
availability of stock, our minimum lead-time for delivery of any
product is as follows:
Within India: 3 - 4 working
days
International: 7 - 10 working days
However, different products may have different delivery lead-times
depending upon the vendors or the place of shipment. This is mentioned on
various webpages. Also, the delivery is not attempted on Sundays and
public holidays, since there is no courier service available on these
days.
In case there is no courier service to the address mentioned in the
order, the order will be cancelled and the same will be intimated to you
by email.
In case you choose a 'Cheque' payment option, the order will be
processed only after your cheque has been realized. We accept cheques payable at select cities only. You can also drop your cheques at Skypak drop boxes. Click here to find out the nearest drop box.
In case you choose a 'Demand Draft' payment option, your order
will be processed only after we have received your Demand Draft.
In
case you choose a 'Cash-On-Delivery' payment option, products will
be delivered only in India to selected 250 cities; there is NO International delivery for this payment
option.

1. General Search:
You can search for a particular product or
a brand using our Search, which is available on each and every Webpage
within Rediff Shopping. To search for any product or brand of your choice,
- Enter the keyword in the box. The keyword can either be a
product (e.g. t-shirt, necklace, flower, cake, etc.) or it can be brand
(e.g. McGrath, Nike, Pantaloon, etc.) or it can also be a title of the
book or the music album.
- Select the category that you would like to product to be
searched in. This category may either be a shop (e.g. All shops, Music
shop, Bookshop, etc.) or it can be a particular product category (e.g.
Apparel, Confectionery, Jewellery, etc.).
- Click on the 'Go' link to generate the search results.
If you select 'All Shops' in the category, you will get
top 3 results in all the shops (i.e. Bookshop, Musicshop,
Giftshop), if any. You can click on the 'See All Results In Shop'
view other results within that particular shop.
The search results will show the first level details of the particular
item with a link to view further details for that item and to add the item
to your shopping bag.
2. Track Listing Search:
To search a particular sound track
from various albums, within the Musicshop,
enter the few initial words of the song and click on the
'Search' button.
You will get a list of all the songs, which includes all the keywords
that you have entered, along with the album title and the names of the
singers. There will also be link to view further details of that
particular album and to add the item to your shopping bag.
3. Rediff Gift Matcher:
We
continuously strive to service our customers better and enable them to
have an excellent shopping experience. Rediff Gift Matcher is one such
service. In order to gift an item to anyone, including your friends,
family members and sweetheart and for any occasion or festival, you can
choose from a wide range of gifting products available at Rediff. An
option to use Rediff Gift Matcher is available in left side
column on every WebPage within shopping channel.
- Enter the 'Occasion' on which the
gift needs to be sent.
- Enter the 'Person' (relation) for
whom the gift is meant.
- Enter the price range within which
you would like to buy the gift.
You may enter either of these
three requirements to get the results to serve your purpose.

submitted within 2 days of receipt of the items.
- In case of all other items, the request for return / exchange shall
be submitted within 7 days of receipt of the items.
- There are no extra shipping charges for the delivery of replacement
items.
- Incase of a replacement, our logistics partners will attempt
delivery of the items thrice. Incase the delivery is not executed during
all the three attempts, due to recipient not available/premises locked,
etc., the customer shall still be charged for the order.
- Incase of replacement of perishable items, the delivery of items
will be attempted only once. Being perishable in nature, neither
rediff.com nor our enabling partner will be able to accept any returns
of such items.

Credit Cards
We accept all major Indian and International credit cards like Visa, Master, American Express, and Diners Club Card. The authorization is done via an online payment gateway.

Credit Card Fax
If you are not comfortable to transmit your credit card details on the
Internet, you can choose "Credit Card Fax" as the payment option and then
send us your credit card details over the fax or via email. We will
approve your order once we receive your credit card details and get the
authorization of the same from the respective service provider.

2. Once you have selected all the items you intend to buy, select
'Credit Card Fax' as your payment option.

Cash-on-Delivery
Cash-on-Delivery (COD) is a mode of payment and this service is
provided through Courier Services. You can choose the COD mode of payment
and pay for your order only when you actually receive it. The COD charges
are calculated based on the weight of the item. Please note, the COD
facility is open currently for self-purchase within India only in selected
250 cities where our logistics partner has got its service.
1. Choose the items you want to buy and click on the 'Buy now' button.
2. Once you have selected all the items you intend to buy, select
'Cash-on-Delivery' as your payment option.
3. Click on the 'Purchase'
button to register the order.
4. Pay cash to the delivery personnel of
our logistics partner.
Please note that Cash-on-Delivery payment option is not available for
jewellery and perishable items.

FedNet provides an easy, online, highly secure, real-time payment for
online purchases. Your transactions through FedNet will be private, safe
and secure.

3. You will then be
shown the Order List Page. Click on 'Pay through Federal Bank - FedNet'

click on 'Continue'. This will throw up the final confirmation page where
the login ID and transaction password are to be entered.

Centurion Bank ePay Funds Transfer Service provides an easy, online, highly secure, real-time payment for online purchases. Your transactions through Centurion Bank ePay will be private, safe and secure.
1. Choose the items you want to buy and click on the 'Buy now' button.
2. Once you have selected all the items you intend to buy, select 'Centurion Bank ePay as your payment option.
3. You will then be taken to the Centurion Bank ePay funds transfer service login page.
4. At the login page, enter your VANTAGE 24 Debit card details. You will then be taken to a page where you need to enter your MyCBOL IPin. Please check the terms and conditions, check your amount to be debited.
5. After confirming the next screen will show you your unique transaction reference number, which is to be used for further communication with Centurion Bank regarding the transaction.
6. The Order No. generated on completion of the request is to be used for further communication with Rediff.com regarding the purchase and delivery.
7. Centurion Bank will process the payment immediately and we will dispatch the order.

IDBI Bank i netbanking
IDBI Bank's i netbanking service with world-class security features guarantees safe online and real time Internet and e-commerce transactions.
1. Browse and select the items you want to buy and click on the 'Buy now' button.
2. Once selection is over for all the items you want to buy select IDBI Bank's i net banking as an option for making the payment. You would be taken to a page for logging into his IDBI Bank Account. This page displays an i-netbanking login area with user id and password boxes.
3. Provide your customer Id and Login password here, Successful login would take you into the secure banking area of i-netbanking.
4. The Make Payment screen with the payee and payment details is then displayed. Once initiated, these payments cannot be rolled back. You may enter remarks for payments but cannot make changes to any other information that is on display. A page will come up asking you to confirm the transaction, provide your Cust Id and Transaction Password.
5. If you click on the Cancel button you would be taken back to the Rediff.Com Site
6. If you click on the OK button a payment confirmation message is displayed with payment confirmation number. Please note this number for future reference with the bank.
7. Click then click on OK again to reach back to the Rediff.Com site.

Cheque
You can select "Cheque" as payment method and get an order registered
with us. Order will be processed after the receipt of the cheque. Please note that paying by cheque will delay your order to some
extent as we dispatch the ordered items after your cheque is cleared.
